Sitting with my grandfather that I've spent the last 3 years caring for as he is in his last breaths. So grateful to have shared this life with this amazing, charismatic, kind, loving guy. He and my grandmother had an amazing way of brightening any room they walked into with their big smiles, kindness and charisma. I couldn't have had better role models for true love, ambition, dedication to their family, strength and kindness. I've had time the last week with him to reflect on life and the adventures we had. Thank him for the support and example he set and let him know it's okay for him to go be with my grandmother and my mom. I know I'll miss his strong presence in my life, but that he'll always be with me.
